Available in 8”, 10”, 12”, 13” & 14” diameters - and in depths from 4” through to box sizes (e.g. 14x14”) - Jalapeno offer 3 standard ranges of snares to suit your needs.

Classic Series

Classic Series snare drums have an 18-ply 9mm shell construction, giving them a classic and versatile sound, applicable to any drumming situation. Lively – but well focussed, resonant, responsive and full-toned, this range is the workhorse basis for any drummer’s kit.

Elite Series

Elite Series snare drums have a 6mm 12-ply shell construction, with support hoops giving 10.5mm thickness at each end. Support hoops increase sound wave velocity as well as strengthening the drums. Open, responsive, resonant, and deep-toned, these drums give a big fat sound perfect for Rock, Blues, Big Band and Jazz.

Prestige Series

Prestige Series snare drums are truly the king of all snare drums. The shell is a 45-ply 25mm / one-inch monster, making this truly the heavy-weight snare drum in any drummer’s arsenal. These drums are probably the loudest snare drums known to man, but don’t be fooled into thinking these are just for big hitters. These drums provide a beautifully focussed crack when struck in the centre, and almost a tuned bell sound when struck towards the edges. Extremely sensitive and responsive, with a full-but-higher tonal range, and an astounding cross-sticking sound, these drums suit all playing styles, function at all playing volumes, and invariably please all who hear them.
